Ring of Honor has announced several matches for an event that is titled, Road To G1 Supercard.
Those matches are Matt Taven vs. Rocky Romero, Shane Taylor teaming up with ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes to take on Dalton Castle and The Boys.
This event presented by the Baltimore-based promotion is slated to go down on Thursday, January 24th Dallas, TX at the Gilley’s Dallas. The promotion is expected to announce more matches in the coming days. As of this writing, the main event has yet to be announced but it could be newly signed prospect Bandido vs. Silas Young in a singles match. Here’s the updated lineup for the show:
- Matt Taven vs. Rocky Romero
- Shane Taylor & ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes vs. Dalton Castle & The Boys.
- Bandido vs. Silas Young
- Rhett Titus vs. Marty Scurll
- Holidead vs. Madison Rayne
- Round One Matches In Tag Team Wars
The winners of ROH Tag Wars 2019 will earn a shot at the ROH Tag Team championships at the promotion’s anniversary show on March 15th. Additionally, the winning team will be entered into the NWA’s Crockett Cup tournament announced for later in the year.
