WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley is known for her confident presence and captivating on-camera personality. This could be a reason a top name from Monday Night RAW pitched her for a popular American television show.
He is the RAW commentator Joe Tessitore. During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Cathy Kelley revealed that Tessitore tried to nominate her for The Bachelorette because he knew people at ABC and the show’s producers. Kelley added that Tessitore even sent a text with her information, but unfortunately, it did not materialize into anything.
Joe Tess actually tried to nominate me to be the bachelorette recently. He’s friends with people at ABC, the producers of the show, because he worked on a similar show on ABC, and then he’s also friends with Jesse, the host, so I think there was a text exchange of sending in my information, which didn’t lead to anything.
Despite not landing a role on a series like The Bachelorette, Cathy Kelley is still a regular fixture on WWE television. Moreover, she has some experience starring in a sitcom, appearing in #blackAF as a flight attendant in 2020. With that and her impressive WWE resume, Kelley might be able to secure a major acting role in the future.
WWE star Cathy Kelly made a surprising personal revelation
Elsewhere in the conversation with Chris Van Vliet, Cathy Kelley revealed that she had been diagnosed with autism. The 37-year-old WWE star added that it has led to social dynamics having changed around her, which is completely different from her onscreen persona.
I was recently diagnosed with autism, and I recognize that it changes a lot of the social dynamics that I have. So when I say introverted, I feel like it’s a little bit more than a typical person would be.
With Cathy Kelley continuing to navigate her career as a WWE analyst, it will be interesting to see what is next for her in the global juggernaut.
