Undertaker Sends Message To Injured AAA Star

ByBishal RoyProfessional Wrestling Journalist

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has publicly sent a message of support to Octagón Jr. following the AAA star’s scary injury.

Taker’s gesture stands out as a cross-promotional acknowledgment at a time when WWE and AAA are working much closer together.

Taking to X, The Undertaker thanked Octagón Jr. for his dedication to AAA and expressed confidence that he would come back from the injury stronger than before.

I would like to take this time to wish a speedy recovery to Octagón Jr. and thank him for his hard work and dedication to AAA,” The Undertaker wrote. “We know you’ll be back better than ever and we look forward to having you return to the locker room.

Coming from one of the biggest names in wrestling history, the support shows that Octagón Jr.’s injury was felt well beyond the AAA locker room.

What Happened To Octagón Jr.

Octagón Jr. was stretchered out of the arena following a horrific spot during the second week of AAA Noche de Los Grandes tapings at the end of May.

Reports suggest that he is expected to be sidelined for several months, though things could have been much worse given how bad the landing looked.

The injury occurred during a five-way match to determine the next challenger for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship. Octagón Jr. couldn’t continue, but the bout went on, with Lince Dorado winning to earn a future shot at AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fénix. You can read about the backstage update on the legitimate injury at the AAA taping for more.

For now, Octagón Jr. is focused on recovering and returning back to the ring.
