WWE and 2K Games revealed the Monday Night War Edition of WWE 2K26 during Saturday Night\'s Main Event, marking the second special edition announced in as many days.

The announcement came during the Peacock broadcast from Montreal\'s Bell Centre, just one night after the Attitude Era Edition was unveiled during Friday\'s SmackDown.
Pre-orders for WWE 2K26 open Thursday, January 30. While no official release date has been confirmed, the game is expected to launch in early March based on the franchise\'s traditional WrestleMania season release window. WWE 2K25 released on March 14, 2025.
According to an earlier report from Insider Gaming, WWE 2K26\'s Showcase Mode will be centered around CM Punk. The mode will reportedly feature three sections: career highlights narrated by Punk himself, \"What If?\" scenarios exploring what might have happened had he not left WWE in 2014, and fantasy dream matches.

- King of Kings Edition – Features Triple H and content celebrating \'The Game\'s\' legendary career
- Attitude Era Edition – Celebrating WWE\'s boom years with Stone Cold, The Rock, and other legends
