In response, Jarrett proposed a match against Castagnoli for next week. If Jarrett wins, he earns a shot at Jon Moxley and the AEW World Championship. The match was quickly made official.
Jarrett’s match with Castagnoli will come amid his feud with MJF. The former AEW World Champion has been insisting that Jarrett won’t capture the AEW World Title without his help. So far, Jarrett has declined the offer, and the two have traded barbs and fists in recent weeks.
