We have your Daily Drop all ready for you today on June 3, 2024. It’s a Monday, and we have RAW tonight. Before we jump into things, let’s take a look at some interesting information.

May 2024 saw AEW and WWE sell a lot of merchandise for stars on their roster. A recent report about those sales figures shows who landed on top of the pack. Jey Uso and CM Punk did very well for themselves on WWE’s chart. Meanwhile, AEW branded merchandise and a few of their Blu-ray DVD releases came out on top for the Land of All Elite. We invite you to check out the links below to get all of those numbers, including the top 10 most-sold items for the month.

Now, let’s get into the Daily Drop!

AEW:

Ospreay to SGW: Uganda’s Soft Ground Wrestling is apparently in real talks to bring in Will Ospreay. The promotion has gone viral over the past few months, and the Aerial Assassin has already expressed his interest in wrestling with them.

AEW Collision Viewership: The June 1st edition of AEW Collision averaged 122,000 viewers overnight, with 34,000 in the key 18-49 demographic. This is a significant drop from the previous episode, which had 366,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating in the same demographic.

Swerve’s New Grill: The AEW World Champion has a new championship grill to go with his belt. He was happy to flex his new iced out smile on Twitter/X.

WWE:

WWE Raw Card for 6/3/24

  • “The Authors of Pain” Akam & Rezar vs. “The New Day” Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods
  • Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser
  • Damian Priest vs. Rey Mysterio

Top Advertisers: A report came out that broke down the top 10 advertisers for WWE and AEW. Both companies are doing strong numbers in that regard, but it’s also very interesting to see who is putting their money into each company for promotional purposes.

Elias Speaks Out: In a new interview, Elijah, who used to be The Drifter in WWE, said that he had an idea for a Monday Night Messiah character before the company gave that gimmick to Seth Rollins. He doesn’t harbor any hard feelings, but he also didn’t back down from the claim that the idea was originally his.

The Real Latino Man: Andrade posted on Twitter/X to proclaim that he is the “Real Latino Man.” To illustrate his point, he showed off photos of himself in an AAA, AEW, and CMLL ring. He did not include a WWE screenshot in the post, although he could have fit a fourth photo.
