Seth Rollins Out 6-9 Months, Tournament To Crown New WWE Champion At Survivor Series

Seth Rollins will be forced to surrender the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, according to WWE. Rollins tore his right ACL, MCL and medial meniscus at Wednesday night’s live event from Dublin, Ireland during his main event match against Kane. Rollins did a top rope sunset flip and landed badly on his knee.

As a result, WWE has announced that a 1-night tournament will be held at Survivor Series (11/22, Atlanta) to crown a new champion.

WWE says he will be out of action for six to nine months, which would kept him on the sidelines for WrestleMania 32 in April.

This blows.
