All Elite Wrestling has confirmed Cody and Dustin Rhodes against The Young Bucks for July’s Fight for the Fallen event from Jacksonville, FL.
The match was set up at Double or Nothing after Cody’s war with Dustin. Just as the elder Rhodes brother was taking off his boots to retire, Cody asked for Dustin to be his partner for this tag team special attraction match. In the most emotional moment of AEW’s first-ever pay-per-view, Cody declared, “I don’t need a partner, I don’t need a friend, I need my older brother” and the two embraced.
With that match set, here is the updated card:
- Cody & Dustin Rhodes vs. The Young Bucks
- Kenny Omega will face CIMA
- Brandi Rhodes vs Allie
At the Double or Nothing post-show media scrum, Chris Jericho mentioned that he’s also booked for AEW’s Jacksonville debut.
AEW: Fight for the Fallen takes place Saturday, July 13th from Jacksonville, FL at the Daily’s Place Amphitheater. Partial proceeds from the event will benefit victims of gun violence.
