Watch: TNA’s Joe Hendry Parodies Creed’s ‘Higher’ For New Song Mocking AJ Francis

TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry took inspiration from rock band Creed for their latest musical barbs aimed at rival AJ ‘Top Dolla’ Francis.

Hendry’s songs have proven to be a hit among wrestling fans with his theme song ‘I Believe in Joe Hendry’ recently reaching #1 on the iTunes charts. Before the latest episode of TNA iMPACT, Hendry insinuated that he would apologize for his previous digs at Francis. Instead, Hendry delivered another scathing performance to the tune of Creed’s ‘Higher.’

Hendry’s final barb of his performance referenced to wanting Francis to be fired and stating that it’s happened twice before. The former WWE Superstar was released in 2021 only to be brought back the next year and was released once again in 2023.

Hendry also featured some of his previous tracks in which he has mocked Francis. Earlier this year, Hendry produced a song for Francis that featured the TNA theme song for AJ Styles. This song mocked Francis’ infamous, though life-saving botched dive in WWE. Hendry said that the former Top Dolla nullifies TNA Wrestling’s insurance whenever he goes sailing over the top rope.

This is hardly the first time that Creed have been brought up in wrestling. During the Attitude Era, WWE produced several promotional videos featuring music from the band, including using ‘Higher’ for one of these videos.

With the success of his most popular track, there’s no doubt that there’s no shortage of people who believe in Joe Hendry.
