WWE:

Vince McMahon Lawsuit Update: In the latest response from Vince McMahon’s legal team, they claim Janel Grant’s motion to strike McMahon’s comments is hypocritical given her allegations. The memorandum states that discovery will show Grant expressed love for McMahon, called him her best friend, shared graphic sexual fantasies, requested money for clothes and plastic surgery, envisioned a future with McMahon even after signing an agreement, and wanted him to continue living in the same building to maintain their relationship.

New QR Code: A new QR Code dropped during WWE RAW this week. This time, fans were treated to a treasure trove of strange photos, including a floppy disk that has this Thursday’s date written on it.

WWE Start Times: A new report dropped yesterday saying that WWE plans to start their premium live events even sooner from now on. This will get fans used to watching special events sooner, and the trend will apparently continue.

WWE SmackDown Viewership Down: The May 10 edition of “WWE SmackDown” experienced a drop in viewership, recording the lowest numbers in five months. The show drew an average of 2,128,000 viewers, reflecting a one percent decline from the previous week.

AEW:

Jon Moxley’s Legacy: Moxley opened up during an interview with SI where he discussed his unique legacy in pro wrestling. He is very much okay with the idea of being remembered as someone who doesn’t quite fit into any existing category.

Ric Flair Calls Out TeePublic: The Nature Boy went on social media to put the popular custom t-shirt print website on blast. They are selling shirts with his likeness on it, but they are not doing it with his permission.

Caster on McMahon Digs: On “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” Max Caster discussed the complexities of referencing WWE in his lyrics. He admitted that sometimes there are “unintended consequences” to taking those shots.

“It could be tempting to take jabs at the rival promotion, but it often resulted in unintended consequences. That’s a double-edged sword, cause you can get them on some things and it’ll be a good burn but you’re also putting more light on their product which they don’t need it… At a certain point you know, people would say, ‘Hey, stop doing that,’ and I listened. I really try not to do it anymore because it just creates more eyes on their product and not ours; it makes us seem second rate.”

Cash Wheeler Legal Update: A new story about Wheeler is great news for his gun charge. Wheeler had been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm after a road rage incident where he flashed his gun at another driver. He pleaded not guilty but was still allowed to participate in last August’s All In pay-per-view, where FTR defeated the Young Bucks. Now, the case against Wheeler has been officially dropped. The prosecutor’s office filed a ‘Nolle Prosequi,’ indicating their decision to abandon the case and not pursue charges against him. Wheeler was previously scheduled to face trial on May 20.
