WWE Announces Changes To NXT TV Schedule On USA Network

WWE has announced some changes to the first two episodes of NXT TV. 

NXT TV will premiere on the USA Network on Wednesday, September 18th and will be expanded to a 2-hour live broadcast. 

PWinsider.com original reported on Thursday that the 9/18 and 9/25 episodes of WWE NXT will be live from 8 PM – 9 PM Eastern on the USA Network while the second hour of those episodes will air live on the WWE Network.

It was added that the 10/2 episode will air their complete two hour live broadcasts on the USA Network, which will remain from that point on. 

WWE later confirmed the news and added that following the first two episodes, the second hour of the show will be immediately available for on-demand viewing on WWE Network.

It will go head-to-head each week with All Elite Wrestling’s new series on TNT starting on October 2nd. WWE has already announced two big matches for the premiere episode of NXT on the USA Network. 

Those matches are an NXT North American Title bout between champion Velveteen Dream and challenger Roderick Strong of The Undisputed ERA, as well as a Triple Threat Match featuring Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, and Mia Yim.

The winner of the match will become the next challenger to NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.
