Next week’s RAW will feature Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns in a #1 contender’s match. The winner will challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
The news was announced by RAW General Manager Kurt Angle. Angle was speaking with Brock Lesnar and his Advocate Paul Heyman until Roman Reigns interrupted. With Reigns pressing Lesnar for a title shot at SummerSlam, Joe hit the ring and made his case for why he’s the more worthy opponent.
WWE SummerSlam takes place Sunday, August 20th from Brooklyn, New York.
