There was speculation that current Impact Wrestling star and former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam could make an appearance on tonight’s (July 22) episode of RAW Reunion.
RVD is backstage and will indeed be appearing the broadcast, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The speculation started once he asked fans to finish a tweet that some believed was, “RVD is RAW.”
Then, fans noticed that the company was selling foam hands as his merchandise at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida before the show.
It should be noted that WWE has yet to advertise the pro wrestling legend for the show but instead, it will be a surprise appearance.
For years after his latest WWE stint that ended in 2014, it appeared that he was just enjoying his life after putting together a successful career as RVD decided to work a selective number of dates on the independent scene. That changed when he signed with Impact earlier this year.
