Jey Uso stunned the wrestling world by winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match, last eliminating John Cena to punch his WrestleMania 41 ticket. In his first interview appearance since his shocking victory, Jey told the Nightcap podcast what he was thinking at the moment of his victory.
“Oh s***. Oh s***. I’m sitting in the ring, and I’m telling you, when I pushed him off, I just watched him. Oh s***. Oh s***. I won the Royal Rumble.”
Cena wasn’t the only notable name Jey Uso eliminated to win the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Along the road to victory, the ‘Main Event’ star tossed out United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and former Bloodline ally Sami Zayn.
What’s Next for Jey Uso?
With his victory, Jey has earned himself a WrestleMania main event, either against World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER or Undisputed WWE Champion (and former tag-team partner) Cody Rhodes. After the Royal Rumble, Jey said he was going to become World Heavyweight Champion, teasing a rematch with the Ring General.
