Regarding Mae Young’s condition, as noted earlier today, she is still alive. She is no longer on life support, however, and is said to be in weak physical condition.
Earlier today, when one of her friends growing up in Oklahoma called her, while she wasn’t strong enough to speak, she did listen. When the friend told her, “you know thousands of people are pulling for you,” Young weakly replied, “I know.”
As of noon on Thursday, Young’s condition had yet to change from that of which was reported late Wednesday night.
