Latest updates on Ric Flair’s surgery, issues not heart-related?

We noted before that the WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair was admitted to a local hospital in Atlanta on Saturday last week. He was reportedly in a medically induced coma and underwent a surgery yesterday. Now some new details have come to light regarding his operation.

It was noted before how Flair has been dealing with some heart-related issues lately about which he wrote in his book too, and it was said to be the likely reason why he was admitted. Though apparently, that’s not the case.

Melinda Morris, one of Ric’s representative revealed on twitter that he had a surgery on Monday afternoon claiming that it was not heart-related. Although said that there is still a ‘long road ahead’:

While Morris didn’t actually reveal what the WWE legend underwent the surgery for, another social media post from the former WWE Star  “Mean” Gene Okerlund gave some more details on it in which he revealed that Flair had a ‘Colon Surgery’:

Since then it has been reported by multiple sources that the surgery was successful and the 16 Time World Champion is allegedly out of the medically induced coma, though his condition is still said to be ‘extremely serious’

The latest updates on his situation from BBC claims that he has been kept in intensive care after the surgery. Charlotte Flair who was in China doing promotion for WWE network is also reportedly on her way to Atlanta to see her dad.
