Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson Win WWE RAW Tag Team Titles

The Revival has been dethroned

The Revival has been dethroned by The O.C’s Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson.

During Monday’s episode of RAW in Little Rock, Arkansas, Anderson & Gallows beat The Usos and Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder in a Triple Threat Match to become the new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions.

WWE’s Stats & Info Twitter account noted that only 16 Superstars in WWE history have won Tag Team Titles in both a standard 2-on-2 match and a Triple Threat Match. The newest members of the list are the new Anderson and Gallows.

As a result of this win, it marks the second time that Anderson and Gallows have held the championships. Their first reign started in January 2017 at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event when they beat Sheamus and Cesaro to become champions.

Their reign ended at WrestleMania 33 in a fatal four-way ladder match with the returning Hardy Boyz dethroning them.

During the June 10th episode of RAW, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder beat The Usos and former champions Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins in a Triple Threat Match to win the RAW Tag Team Championships. This marked their second reign as champions.

With WWE no longer doing automatic rematches, it will be interesting to see who Anderson and Gallows make their first televised title defenses against at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event next month.
