Rumble Fan Fest Considered A Big Success, UFC vs. WWE Ad Rates & More

– Last weekend’s Royal Rumble Fan Fest in Phoenix, Arizona was considered a big success. The event was considered to be a test to gauge fan interest, which was very strong. Moving forward, WWE is talking about holding Fan Axxess events in the days leading up the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series.

– Even though ratings for WWE RAW are significantly better than UFC’s live shows on FOX, WWE only gets 1/3 of the ad rates that UFC is able to charge.

– Friday’s SmackDown did a 2.03 and 3.03 million viewers, a strong showing for the final SmackDown before the Royal Rumble. It was the fourth most-watched show on cable that night.
