Scott Dawson got fans talking over a recent post that he shared on his official Twitter account.
During Monday’s episode of RAW in Cincinnati, OH at the US Bank Arena, WWE did a segment where The Revival (Dawson and Dash Wilder) accidentally put on a product like ICY HOT that was supposed to be embarrassing for the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions.
This was after last week where WWE did an angle that saw The Usos catch Wilder and Dawson shaving each other’s back. Dawson took to Twitter where he wrote the following:
While some fans speculated and rightfully so that this tweet was aimed at WWE officials for doing these types of segments, it was likely done in storyline towards The Usos.
It should be noted that these embarrassing moments to The Revival started after reports surfaced that the former RAW Tag Team Champions were offered five-year, $500,000 per year deals to stay with WWE, but haven’t accepted. The Revival turned down the contract offers.
Back in January, it was reported that The Revival were unhappy about their position in the company and requested their releases but was declined. Their current contracts are rumored to expire in 2020.
