WWE has announced a stipulation to a top title match at the upcoming Stomping Grounds PPV. WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins will make his next title defense against Baron Corbin at this event.
On Monday’s RAW, Corbin announced that there will be a Special Guest Referee for the match. Corbin noted that he has two weeks to make the decision.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on who will be the special referee. This is a rematch from the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event that saw Rollins retain his championship.
WWE presents the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view event on Sunday, June 23 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA that will air on the WWE Network. WWE will be announcing more matches for this show in the coming weeks. Here is the updated card:
