Tenille Dashwood (WWE’s Emma) Uncertain About Her Pro Wrestling Future

WWE released several main roster Superstars in September, and although a few of them are getting out there and taking dates, one isn’t certain they will ever wrestle again.

Tenille Dashwood’s 90-day non-compete clause concluded with the rest of those releases. That was definitely not an event she mapped out for herself on any 2023 vision board.

2023 was a tough year for some, full of change and transition. As Tenille Dashwood looks back at what happened over the past twelve months, so has a lot to think about.

Now adopting the name Tenille Dashwood once again, she contemplated her future in pro wrestling, as she reflected on this year.

“2023 was filled with highs and lows. The man of my dreams proposed to me, and I lost my dream job at the company where we first met. While I’m not sure if I’ll ever wrestle again… I am sure that I’ll turn this into a positive. No restrictions, no putting things on the back burner. Time to follow my heart.”

Emma’s Career In WWE

Emma has navigated an interesting wrestling career since coming over to the United States from Australia. Years ago, she was once fired from WWE after a shoplifting incident, which was a total misunderstanding in the end, but she was brought back in a hurry. Then she was released for a much longer period of time in 2017.

Following her initial WWE tenure, she ventured into other companies like ROH and Impact Wrestling before making a WWE return in 2022. However, her second stint was brief, as she faced another release in September.

Tenille Dashwood and Madcap Moss met while they were in WWE. Then, they shared a WWE release date in September as they both received messages that their contracts were terminated.
