Triple H: ‘Brock Lesnar Is Not Gone From WWE, He’s Just At Home’

Brock Lesnar may not have competed at WWE WrestleMania 40: Saturday, but that doesn’t mean his days with the promotion are a thing of the past.

Despite being one of WWE’s top Superstars, Lesnar did not appear at the Saturday event and is not expected in any capacity at the upcoming WrestleMania 40: Sunday show either. Speaking at the post-WrestleMania 40: Saturday press conference, Triple H was asked about Lesnar’s current WWE status.

“At one point, there was a conversation with Brock about Royal Rumble, quite a long time ago. Right now, Brock is at home being Brock. We’ll see where that leads to from here. His status is the same as it has been before. Brock is not gone from WWE. He’s just home being Brock.”

Brock Lesnar’s WWE Hiatus

Lesnar has been implicated, but not named in Janel Grant’s damning lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon. In the suit, Grant alleges that she was trafficked to a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, believed to be Lesnar. The former WWE Universal Champion has not publicly commented on the matter.

The controversy surrounding Lesnar led to WWE nixing all plans for the Beast, who was supposed to be a part of the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match. He was replaced in the bout by Bron Breakker. Lesnar was set to face ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 but that match was also nixed. It’s believed that WWE intended for Lesnar to face GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40. The Austrian instead lost the Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn at WWE WrestleMania 40: Saturday.
