WWE Makes Big Change To Top Match On This Week’s SmackDown Live

WWE has announced one big change to a top match that will take place on this week’s SmackDown Live.

It was originally announced that Samoa Joe would battle Big Cass in a Money in the Bank qualifying match on this show, which takes place in Worcester, MA at the DCU Center.

However, as a result of the ongoing storyline injury angle with Cass, WWE SmackDown Live General Manager Paige has revealed that Cass will not wrestle Joe on this show.

Instead, Daniel Bryan will take on Jeff Hardy with the winner facing Joe next week on SmackDown Live in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. Paige tweeted out the following:

“Due to @BigCassWWE injury, @WWEDanielBryan will face @JEFFHARDYBRAND tomorrow night on #SDLive in a second chance match… The winner will face @SamoaJoe NEXT WEEK for an opportunity to qualify and enter the Men’s #MITB Ladder Match.”

Naomi vs. Sonya Deville and Lana vs. Billie Kay in MITB qualifying matches will also take place on the show.
