WWE RAW Viewership Down From Last Week

Viewership is in.

Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from San Francisco, California at the Chase Center averaged 2.210 million viewers, which is down from 2.272 million the previous week.

Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • Hour 1: 2.372 million – Last Week: 2.417
  • Hour 2: 2.213 million – Last Week: 2.319
  • Hour 3: 2.044 million – Last Week: 2.079

The episode was expected to drop slightly in viewership due to the competition that it faced.

The biggest competition that WWE RAW faced came in the way of an NFL regular-season game between the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins that aired on ESPN did 10.327 million viewers.

For comparison, the same episode last year drew 2.493 million viewers for hour one, 2.275 in the second hour, and 2.281 in the third hour.

Some of the matches that took place include The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) defeat The OC (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows), Sasha Banks (w/Bayley) defeats Nikki Cross (w/Alexa Bliss), Lacey Evans defeats Ember Moon, Chad Gable defeats King Corbin, WWE Universal Title #1 Contendership Fatal Five-Way Elimination Match that was won by Rey Mysterio, and Braun Strowman vs. Seth Rollins in the headliner.

The show also featured an appearance by Bray Wyatt, who attacked Strowman to close the show.

WWE will attempt to maintain its viewership for RAW next week. In case you missed the show, you can check out the five takeaways here.
