Saturday Night's Main Event

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event first premiered as a primetime special on NBC in May 1985. The show brought the ‘golden era’ of WWE to the masses and helped make household names out of legendary wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan, Jake the Snake Roberts, and the Ultimate Warrior. After a successful run until 1991, it returned intermittently in later years before returning as a regular quarterly NBC special in December 2024.
