The Rock Speaks On NASCAR Daytona 500 Rain Out
The Rock was in Daytona to be the Grand Marshal for this year’s race. He knew that a rain out was possible, which he stated during his video that he dropped today.
Dwayne Johnson didn’t get to tell racers to start their engines, but he was around for the rain out. He also spoke to the panel at the raceway, where he assured them that he will be around for tomorrow’s delayed race.
The Rock spoke about his midnight workout session, and how driving past the raceway was an incredible experience. Even in the middle of the night, workers filled the iconic NASCAR venue, preparing themselves for today’s race.
While he was there, The Rock also spoke about the XFL’s new deal with the USFL to form the UFL. He is very happy to bring that gridiron action to FOX as part of their new deal as well.

What This Means For WWE
According to Dave Meltzer’s Daily Update, the Daytona 500 getting bumped could help WWE SmackDown make history.
Meltzer explained that, “Due to the cancellation of today’s Daytona 500, there’s a strong possibility that Smackdown on Friday could emerge as the highest-rated show on network television for the week. However, due to the holiday, this may not be confirmed until Wednesday or Thursday. Such an occurrence has never been recorded in the history of televised professional wrestling, which has been ongoing since 1947.”
