– While at last night’s WWE live event from Milan, Italy, WWE Champion AJ Styles issued a message to his Survivor Series opponent and WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. “The Phenomenal One” expressed his confidence in being able to pull off the upset win over “The Beast”:
“Now I am the WWE Champion once again, and now I have the opportunity at Survivor Series to face Brock Lesnar,” Styles said. “I know what you’re thinking, ‘AJ, you can’t beat him! He’s a beast! He’s a giant!’ Well, you know there was this one guy, who had a slingshot and a stone. And I have a ring that I’m going to slingshot myself into victory, when I take it to Brock Lesnar! And that’s how the story will end.”
– In addition to airing Ring of Honor and Lucha Underground content, DSport (a premium sports TV channel) has announced that they will now be airing New Japan Pro Wrestling in India. No further details have been disclosed at this time:
